Everything about this experience was a 10/10. I saw this was the number one BBQ spot in Texas Monthly and knew I had to make the drive to try it. Being an hour from Austin, got there around 8:15am and had about a dozen to 15 people in front of us for a Saturday. We met a few folks from San Antonio and became friends. That along with the cool indoor AC, Christmas tree for the cheery season and well organized flow of everything was a fantastic atmosphere. The service from the staff was top tier, the chief to Chris to constant check-in from everyone, it was nothing shy of spectacular. The food, mouth watering goodness. I haven’t had a better Mac and cheese of any variation of the BBQ spots I’ve tried so far in Texas. It was the best I’ve had. The Korean Beef Ribs stole the show for me too, moist, tender, and exceptionally amazing. They were the best I ever had as well. The brisket and sausage were phenomenal as well. The red velvet cake was sensational. They have a personal in house baker that makes the cakes from scratch and I must say, the cakes are not as sweet but that’s what it should taste like, not all loaded sugar and overwhelming sweetness. It was noticeably better tasting and loved every bit of it. This place truly was well worth the wait and one of the best BBQ experiences all around I’ve had so far in Texas. 12/10 recommend.

It’s not everyday you can try Texas BBQ or better yet Michelin awarded Texas BBQ that’s been ranked 1st out of all the amazing BBQ joints in the state. For the average customer this takes dedication and patience to try the best. From holding a spot in line early to waiting to place your order, it’s a mini marathon lasting over serval hours. But as the saying goes, good things come to those that wait. The Prime brisket really does melt in your mouth. The smoked turkey is tender and moist. The pork ribs are dialed in perfectly. Smoked meats are always rich and very bad for you. But in moderation it’s a thing of beauty. Overall, the bbq lives up to the hype. Patrons carried their food trays back to their tables as if they had gold bars on them. Ever so careful and determined to bask their appetites in bbq paradise. Because if it were easy it wouldn’t be as good or fun. One of the managers said it’s like Disney World in here. It really does have that kind of luck!

We got there at 8:30. Got our food at 11:53. And I would do it again!!! Korean beef ribs were delicious a good sweet and savory. Brisket was juicy and had a good smoke flavor. Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage was good but did have a kick to it. As for sides queso mac was to die for. You add the hot cheeto crumbs they aren't spicy. Bacon ranch taters were good and flavorful. The only two things that could of been better were the cowboy beans and coleslaw, they weren't bad i liked them but wished they had more flavor. Honorable mentions: pickle pasta super delicious. And the sweet potato with toasted marshmallow could eat that for a lifetime!!! Dont forget the dessert we got banana pudding, carrot cake, German chocolate cake . They were all moist and packed with the best flavor!

Texas monthly #1 BBQ and this place did not disappoint. I think I see why it got ranked #1 because it's not your normal BBQ spot in Texas. They give it a twist especially on Sunday by having barbacoa and even munedo. The meat are really good and tender and really enjoyed them i missed out on the turkey, pepper jack sausage, jalapeño sausage, and beer ribs. So you do have to get there early. Overall I did enjoy it and would be looking forward on coming back.

Delicious food, wonderful service and awesome atmosphere. We decided to finally give it a try to see what the hype was all about. We are so glad we did. The pork chop was superb! Absolutely fantastic. The brisket melts in your mouth. The sausage changes lives, and basically, we need to go back to try more. We went Sunday morning-the only day they serve breakfast. Sunday mornings don't always have all of the side available. We need to try that corn pudding and the barbacoa. If you're thinking about it, go ahead and try it. It's worth the experience.

Burnt Bean is 100% worth the hype. From the jump you can tell this place is special + the chef coming around doing table touches just sealed the deal. Love seeing that level of pride and care! The brisket? Insane. Exactly what Texas BBQ should be. The sweet corn pudding is a must, the Texas brisket chili is rich and delicious, and honestly the sides hold their own with the meats, sweet corn pudding was my fav! Save room for dessert because the German chocolate cake and banana pudding were both amazing. Like… don’t-skip-dessert amazing! Great vibes, friendly staff, and food that makes you want to plan your next visit before you leave. Worth the wait, worth the drive, and absolutely a repeat spot.

In my personal opinion, it’s not the best BBQ we’ve had in Texas — but it’s still a must-try if you’re ever in the area. We arrived shortly after they opened, and it was honestly wild to see how many people were already waiting. I’ll never get over the dedication of folks who line up outside before opening! We ended up waiting a little over an hour before getting inside to place our order. The menu is straightforward and easy to navigate, the staff is friendly, and they do a great job keeping the line moving as efficiently as possible. For sides, my personal favorite was the potato salad, while my husband loved the mac & cheese. What we ordered: Brisket — Normally what we look forward to when we visit a place, unfortunately, it was a little dry on the day we visited, so we ended up using quite a bit of sauce. Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage — Very flavorful and meaty. I would have liked a bit more jalapeño heat, but still very good. Pork Ribs — We don’t usually order ribs at BBQ spots, but these looked too good to pass up. They were tender and fall-off-the-bone while still having a nice bite. Hot Cheeto Queso Mac — Extremely filling — this could honestly be a meal on its own. Cowboy Beans — I didn’t try them myself, but my husband said they were solid, just nothing particularly standout. Potato Salad — Refreshing and exactly what you want from a classic BBQ side. The owner was walking around checking on guests and making sure everyone was enjoying their food, which I always appreciate. You can tell he takes pride in his craft. I love seeing the support they’re getting and wish them continued success!

Arrived Thursday afternoon to find a very small line offor ordering (thank goodness). By the time we were done ordering, our food was waiting for us hot and ready. One of the people working there was able to answer questions about ingredients and food allergies which is so refreshing. We got the brisket with green beans, cowboy beans, pickle pasta and the el tejano brisket taco. Everything had great flavor. The brisket wasn't too fatty or too dry. Would DEFINITELY eat here again.
